I am looking to buy the pioneer W5102 SPL but then I heard about RE Audio mainly the XXX12-D2 and from what I have read they are really good subs. I am looking to replace my 2 subs with one good one that will really pound. I have read all the specs on both subs and the pioneer has a higher RMS at 2500 compared to the RE Audio at 2000. I also heard to check the DB Sensitivity and Pioneer is 89db and RE at 83 so again the pioneer is higher. So question #1 is whic sub will vibrate the windows better?
Now with either amp I was thinking of using the POWER ACOUSTIK A3000DB amp which is rated at 2300 watts x 1 channel @ 1ohm. I have never really heard of these amps either so are they any good? I know its a little more than the RE sub is rated fro but I have heard they can handle more than they are rated for.
So which sub would be the better choice for loudness?
What is the opinion on Power Acoustik amps?

I'd honestly go with the Pioneer in my experance they have been a more reliable brand and I think either one of them will vibrate the windows just as good.
However on the subject of Power Acoustik amps I'm looking at getting one of those for my Orion HCCA 15.2. I am interested in whether other users recommend them or not too.

I have pioneers now (the ones right below the w5102) but they arent overly loud and I have blown 2 of them so far thats why im looking to upgrade.

i would get the RE XXX. 500 watts more RMS wont really make a difference in output. RE, even though they are a newer brand, they are just as reliable as anything pioneer makes. and the XXX also has very good sound quality as well as being a beast of a sub

No question the Re sub will kill the pioneer and bury him in the backyard with one arm tied behind his back!

The RE sub has been better in my testing for a daily setup. I just didnt like the sound of the pioneer, if felt for as big of a sub as it was it should be moving much more!
As far as the power akustajunk amp, ditch that and buy something from a reputible brand.
If you looking at a $500 woofer, you should be looking for a $500-$750 amp!
