I have a set of Seas Audio Prestige 1396 Tweeters also a set of Dayton Audio Reference RS180-4
I have them hooked up to a Xtant 603X
Here is were my issue came in I was originaly told I had a 4 channel amp thinking this was the Xtant 604X and was originaly told had Scanspeak not Dayton audio non the less there Dayton they still sound good no worries.
My issues is I blew my tweeters there is no crossover hooked up and the amp has a module that makes it from a 2 channel amp to a passive 4 channel amp. Whatever I do to the crossover points for the mids happen to the tweeters and they blow. I keep looking into different types of crossovers I find on ebay with the frequencies that will work and the ohm load that match and everyone tells me they wont work.
To be honest I just suffered death in the family and don't have much more money at this time to sink in the system I wish I did but it will be a while. Can anyone suggest crossovers that will work.
I just need a strait honest non smart @$$ intelligent solution
Here are the specs of my amp/ tweeters and mids below...

Those were very nice tweeters. It's too bad you blew them. You MUST always use a crossover with tweeters, there is no way around that, but buying unknown circuits on flea-bay is not the way to go. You need to either build a custom set of xovers or find some designed for those drivers... or replace the entire setup with s set of commercial components, since you have to replace the tweeters now anyway. If you do decide to buy new tweeters there are plenty of folks here - including me - who can help you design a crossover for them.
