Hey what does the frequency Multiper on crossovers do? I have the SSL SX310 and it has a frequency multiplier of x1 - x 20 would this make my Pioneer TS-S20 sound better? i am putting the tweeters on ther front channel with the frequency multiplier.

If the range of the knob is from 20 to 500 Hz   with the multiplier in the X1 position, it is 20 to 500 Hz    with the switch in the X 20 position, the range is now from 400 to 10,000 Hz.

It changes the crossover setting.  For example, if the frequency control is set to 100Hz, at X1 the crossover is functioning at 100Hz, at X20 it is functioning as 2000Hz.  They are used to create the proper setting you need for your system.  No, they will not make your add-on tweeters "sound better," but properly used the amplifier crossover will help protect them from being blown due to improper system setup.
