Regarding the message you just sent me regarding the Bose head unit in a 2001 Nissan Maxima with Cruise Control

Does the original unit just have to powered? By means no other wires have to be attached to the original unit except the unswitched power from the battery?

Or do all the wires from the origional harness have to be plugged in, as if it was still sitting in the dash?
