Can someone help me i am a auto spark that works on boats i was fitting a jvc dvd/cd player i wanted to take take the audio out of the stereo to audio in on the tv TOSHIBA tv so that the dialogue when watching films comes out through the speaker channel on the tv as well as the four speakers with the dvd/cd player it wont come through everything else works fine but cannot get sound through tv speakers i am a auto/marine electrician but audio not my thing thanks.

How are you connecting the video from the dvd to the tv?  If composite video (yellow RCA jack), right next to the video in on the tv there should be red and white RCA jacks.  Simply connect those to the front or rear RCA jacks on the dvd deck.

The volume of the dvd deck will have to be turned up in order for this to work.

Do the tv speakers work when watching over the air TV?

I am going from the dvd comp(rca) audio out there are three sets of audio outs on back of dvd player (front audio out)( rear audio out ) these are for amps and a pair of rca leads with second audio out this must be the one for what i want i have tried all of them and then first i went audio in on tv scart plug the tv has no composite on it that did not work then i went audio in on the component ext that did not work all the stuff is new are the audio outs preamp? i cant even put a ac volt meter on the audio out to see if it has any signal boat has left the factory
