Hi i'm just registered here today and wanted to say you guys have a great site. I used to compete from 1997-2001 in USAC SPL and SQ in the northeast.  Some of you may remember the Red Volvo with 8 - 15's (protech) in a W wall if you competed back then, that was me.

Anyway I have a work pickup truck and I can't rip out the back seat, so i'm limited with a box about 1.15 sq.ft. max to be put under the rear seat, there is only room for a amp behind the seat. Right now I have a cadence class D mono amp that does 1550rms @ 2 ohms and i'm sad to say I ordered 4 dvc audiobahn 8"s. So this will give me about .25 sq.ft. per sub sealed.

Now my question is since i'm limited with a mounting depth of about 4.75" and barely 10" wide and 37" long (box is an odd shape so i'm getting alittle more sq.ft. out of it) can you guys think of any other options that I can consider and if I try this configuration what do you think I could expect from this, besides blowing the cones off the woofer.

Any reccomendations/comments/jokes will be appreciated. Thanks!

wth? Former fellow competitor using Audiobahn? Just kidding. I just had the same wonders about subs in my pickup. I am wondering how this will work for ya. I threw in 12's that I had already but I'd like to know what you end up doing and how it sounds.
