IDA-X200 .. . will this headunit do the job with the gear i got? i always wanted separate volume for my sub and speakers. please let me know.

As long as you don't need a CD player it's a good head unit.

cool. do/did you own one? i was just wondering. i know you can navigate the ipod from the headunit, will this be difficult? or its an easy function?
