HI...I would like some advice on an amp that would give me exceelent sound quality.not looking for power...I am using kenwwod 6 by 9's( 3way) in the back, and kicker 6 1/2" components up front. looking for a four channel....in the neibourhood of 40-50 rms. might put some 6 1/2" mid bass speakers under the dash for a better sound stage....along with the components

you could look at any of the amps made by a/d/s/...they have alot of amps that are in the power range you are looking at, and provide a very nice and clean signal...

Get a Class A amplifier for best SQ. Also remember that it's not just the amp that will help you the SQ rather the position of the speakers up front to give to a full sound stage and warm sound. Do you have an EQ to set up the SQ ?

I don't have an EQ but it wouyld be a wise idea, have a half din space beneath my head unit wich would fit perfectly....car is a 97 honda accord exr...currently using kicker EX620 components upfront.....tweets sound a bit hot on them, should clear that up with a good amp...with minimal clearance under the dash, what would you recommend as speakers and placement under there, would like some more definition

You can fabricate your own kick pods in the lower kick panle area for better sound stage of the front end. This would be way better than the factory location that the doors speakers are in and also the tweeters are up high on the dash, not the best for sound stage if you ask me. The ideal spot for a component set is where the tweeter and the woofer are about 4" apart from each other. With the EQ inline of the HU & amp, you will tone down those tweets and with kickpods you can also eliminate the hot sound that the tweeters are giving you when they are so high on the dash.
