I have an alpine mono mrp650 amp and a sealed .60 cu ft enclosure, my amp can run 400rms at 4ohms or 600rms at 2ohms. I'm looking for one tenthat will give a mixture of sq and spl. What sub will do what I'm looking for?

id go for a power acoustik fubar 10. keep in mind subs arent about the name. everyone hates power acoustik but they are great quality for the money, especially with a higher class speaker like the fubar. if you get the right deal u can get one for about 150 and theyll handle way more then your amp puts out, yet wont blow it up at the correct settings (3/4 gain, 3/4 bass boost)

First of all, the FUBAR is nothing even remotely anything resembling an SQ woofer. SPL is all it does well. Additionally, everyone hates PA for a reason... They're crap! (Do they even HAVE a "higher class"?)

Secondly, "3/4 gain, 3/4 bass boost" doesn't even remotely resemble "correct settings".

Two strikes. One more, and you're out, ben_c_8... posted_image

My suggestion: Deese guy! The Audiopulse woofers will blow the FUBAR into the weeds, in both SQ and SPL. Expensive, yes... But worth every penny!

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
