Upgrade the big 3, new alternator, probably a second battery, and more than likely a 2 farad capacitor. 0 guage power/ground cables, dual twisted RCA's, and a decent head unit to push voltage for that power. That is all recommended of course.

That is funny because it is true. There is more than just installing it. But to begin you need an amp or combination of amps to get the 2200 RMS.

Forget the cap... until you have an adequate power supply, it will only hinder, and if you have an adequate power supply, you don't need the "band-aid on the bullet wound", as there won't be any bullet wound, as it were... ------------- It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. The complete renovation of the automobile into a rolling acoustic sound room. Hows about 1000$$ minimum in wire and soundproofing before 1 electronic component is purchased.
