I am having a problem with my 3sixty.2 and can't figure it out.  I did not do the install, but an authorized dealer (Cartoys) did.  Every once in awhile I get this static and engine noise coming from my speakers.  It comes on randomly and I can't figure out why.  It is hard to diagnose because it comes on randomly then shuts off.  Even when I turn the radio off, you can still hear it.  I sent my 3sixty.2 back because of the bluetooth problem and hoped that it would solve the sound issue, but it hasn't.  I did not skimp on any of the components in my car.  The wiring is all from Monster Cables.  Any help would be appreciated.   This is my system setup.

Do you sometimes place your cellphone very near the radio or the processor?    When it does make the noise, how long are the bursts?

The processor is in the trunk, below the rear deck.  My cell phone is always in my pocket.  The engine noise will last for 3-15 minutes sometimes.  It is very random.  It is so hard to diagnose because it comes on sporadically; and doesn't stay on long enough to diagnose.

Cell Phones communicate with the tower occasionally.  When they do, it can make a noise that is picked up by the deck.  This is usually a 1 or 2 second burst.  Not going to be your problem.
