Here is my post that I made earlier. If want a deep loud bass I would suggestion you switch to a 12" or bigger sub to get the deep bass. As for tuning your frequency, you have to check the specification of your amplifier and sub woofer to get a good match. The technical way of doing it is using your ear and some good bass music that you like. I never heard the sub that you got so I can’t really suggest any thing here. I am sure other members might have and can help you out.

2. Ported enclosure. Designed to play lower bass louder than the
sealed enclosure, power handling is great, and is more efficient than the sealed design.
3. Bandpass enclosure. Offering good frequency response and great overall output, however, power handling is the lowest of the three and it is also the largest enclosure of the group. "
