I have checked and checked but I can't find a schematic or wire color for the retained power at the head unit? I wanted it to activate my xm ,, right now if I shut the truck down my XM unit shuts off and the stereo plays static while it is in the retained power before you open the door mode
2006 F250 superduty 6.0 diesel
thx Z

You have to hard wire the XM radio plug wires to ground and the ACC wire behind the radio.

it is hardwired now but I think there is a retained power lead at the stereo ,, right now the acc lead will turn off but the radio stays on after you turn the ignition off I want the xm to remain on while the stereo is in the retained power mode ( this is a convenience feature that terminates as soon as you open a door )

Not sure of RAP wire...But worse case you can use the RAP relay in the relay section...And wire the XM seperately to the relay...Shuts off when you open door...Or grab a meter and see which wire stays powered untill door opens...

I was sure I had read that this ford had a RAP output lead at one time ? I know my last GM only stayed on because the factory head unit was built that way and there was no output wire, I will grab my meter and see whats up thanks
