DO they make a IP-bus splitter or Hub I am trying to figuer out how to hook up a usb and I pod adapter to my AVIC D3. 95 IMP SS Thanks Matt

not sure about a splitter but usually each adapter will have an ip bus input AND output to chain multiple devices together.
edit: they DO have an IP Bus input AND output so you will just chain them together but they each need their own power supply though.

Since there is no box on either of the things you are trying to connect. You may want to look into getting an IP-Bus extension cable and extending the cable to a place where you can easily reach it. Then you will need to find out if you change from one cable to the other, if the unit has to be reset before it will recognize the new device. If you have both cables, turn the unit off and switch to the other cable. If the new one plays, the extension may be your best bet.

Definetly not an idiot. This was the only thing I could figuer out also and was trying to avoid. As far as I can tell this is my only option. Well if anyone knows of something like this please let me know. Thanks Matt
