I'm working on installing a cd player in a '91 Geo Prizm 4dr Sedan.

There's an impartial wiring diagram here at 12volt but I need a complete one. The wires that have me stumped are the brown wire(ground?), the fact that there's two green wires, and the white with green striped wire. I installed without an inline harness and soldered the wires together. The problems are that my right front speaker doesn't work and sometimes the whole system has no sound at all. It kills the sound when I turn on my headlights (!) and doesn't come back until I kill the engine.

In short, I need a diagram please! Thanks for your help.

I think those are common ground speakers in the car...How many pins do you have on the stereo harness in car...I know "i am an idiot" just schooled me on the whole common ground and not having to run wire...If you could list how many pins and colors are at radio harness...Can you see any speakers in the car, meaning the wires that go to them...Or you could just run new wires to the speaker...

Accessory	GRAY	(+)	RADIO HARNESS
Ground	CHASSIS
Illumination	GREEN	(+)	RADIO HARNESS
