I have a 1995 camaro z28. door locks work fine for a good while. after being off for about thirty minutes the car will not lock/unlock anymore. it will disarm but does not unlock the doors. i am runing the prestige aps997a. i know there is 12 volts constant at all times because the trunk release still works. any advice??

The BCM goes to sleep after a while on this car and won't allow the door locks to work. You need to pulse the gray/black door pin wire at the BCM (passenger kick panel) to wake the BCM up and allow the locks to work.

That should work, but you must diode isolate the two circuits. The bands on the diodes must face the remote starter. It may be necessary to program the system for a double unlock pulse to make it work.

The door lock harness is a three wire one with a green, red and RED / black wire in it. The green wire pulses to ground when the remote is used for unlock. Use this wire with a diode to pulse the doorpin wire. Depending on how your door locks are hooked up, this may be the same wire that triggers the relay for unlock. It too must get a diode to isolate the 2 circuits from one another.
