Hi, I have a 1999 Buick Century.

My cousin just gave me 2 JL Audio 12'', and 2 JL Audio 10'' subs. He also gave me a 760w pioneer amp. So far, I have an alpine deck that I have not yet installed. Best Enclosure type and where to get it, new amp?, and how to install the deck would all be great info if someone can help. Thank you very much!

I know you can get vehicle specific/sub specific boxes! Yes on the new amp...(price range?)....Whats the actual model of the subs(other then jl)...You will need a mounting kit, harness and antenna adapter...Part # 99-2003(mounting kit)...70-2001(harness)...40gm10(antenna adapter...Heres how to take radio out...and worst case scenario...You can temporarily use the amp...Whats the actual model # on the amp...?

1. Open both doors and remove end caps from both ends of dashboard.

2. Open glove box, then remove (1) 9/32" screw from panel above passenge

kick panel and remove.

3. Remove 9/32" screws from bottom left and right of ashtray assembly

and unclip and remove.

4. Unclip top edge of panel below steering column and let hang.

5. Remove (1) 9/32" screw from right side of instrument cluster and

radio trimpanel and remove entire panel from right to left.

6. Remove (3) 9/32" screws to remove radio.

You can check out your local install shop for a custom enclosure(expensive) or Audio Enhancers for a little less

Your Welcome and Your Welcome...The subs should have the Model # on side or bottom...Also can you list the amp's Model #...?  Will match you up an amp (price range?) when you can get info on subs...!

Alright so the subs are wO's, my cousin told me that, the subs are currently in a box and i don't wanna mess anything up yet. The box doesn't fit in my trunk, thats where i'm having the issue. The amp is a pioneer 760w 2 Channel Bridgeable Gm-5000t.

Opiniarian: Use the pioneer amp for highs. Go to every shop in your area and bargain with them. Every shop wants business and smart owners will always work with you. Once you trust the shop owner, patronize him for your needs. Post his ideas and prices here and we'll tell you if its a good deal. Port your subs into the cab. DO NOT let your trunk rattle. Rattlers SUCK!
