I did this the other day and everything worked fine but there was no bass. Is it possible that I connected the input wires to a crossed over speaker wire in the Bose system? If so does anyone know the colors of the wires that I need or where I can find them? The vehicle is a 1997 Nissan Maxima. Thanks in advance. Brian

Were you trying to do a 4-channel amp with the factory speakers?  Or was it a 2 or 1 channel amp for subs?

It is possible that you tapped in to a wire that only goes to the woofers in the system.  I've never known the bose systems to do this but I know for example the ford mach 460 system has two amps in the back that run all 6 woofers in the system, and then one other amp in the dash that runs the highs for all the speakers.
