I just bought a TD706G Xtrons. It Has the works. Its a Double Din DVD/GPS/Blue Tooth plus more. I will be installing this into a 2000 Impala. I have done some reading on as that I will lose my door Chime/Seat belt Chime and other alarms that I am able to reset on the Factory radio. I have also read that there is interface solution for this. I just am very confused since there is so many brands and different models. Another thing. I do Not have Onstart and do Not have RCA jacks out of the factory radio.  I see lots of the interfaces having RCA jacks but I dont need them. Can someone explain the small wire connector on this unit. Its a 3 wire ( i think ) I couldnt find any wire schematics for it. dont know what it does.

So with that said, can someone help me find the right harness/interface that will work? I did not want to spend more than $100. but would like to keep as many features as I could. The Xtrons cam with a harness  but on the end it has an ISO block. I can not find a ISO Block adpter for my car (in the US) I did find alot of ISO Blocks in the UK but not sure if its what I want to do.Am I just better off Cutting that out and trying to make a interface/harness work to keep my alarms and setting?

I will take Pics as I get the harness, and get things put together. Hopefully I will be able to post them.

Thanks in advance

GT

Hi abcgt , I  have had a dvd cd nav bluetooth tv system installed into my 2000 impala. The installer I had do the job, used the wrong interface and had a low tire light come up on the dash. Had to put the factory radio back in to reset the code. Went back to him and had a relocation harness for factory radio put in and now have the radio in the trunk. If i need to reset any code's the radio is there. I am in contact with someone right now that has told me he can get a new harness,he said it will work and i will not need the relocation harnessor the old radio. I do not know if it will work or not. the harness is a GMCO harness from HiFi soundconnection under 100 bucks. I see this posted awhile ago, hope you got everything running well. In my case we could not get my dvd to show video, no matter what we did. we could here the sound for the dvd , but saw no picture. havs had the pink wire grounded to the ebrake and other grounds but still no video. did you get the right harness and did you get your dvd to work.
