i'm currently in the market for a OEM interface for something like the JL Audio cleansweep or rockford fosgate 3sixty, or any other brand. i'm leaning more towards the cleansweep because i hear that the 3sixty falls short in a couple of areas, but i have a couple of questions. what are the pro's and con's to a cleansweep? is it a huge difference in terms of sound quality compared to your 30-50$ line out convertor? also, i'm confused on what i need to purchase if i do decide to get a cleansweep, as they have the CL441-dsp (which i assume is the actual convertor), and they have these two things: https://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_cleansweep_pages.php?page_id=193 , https://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_cleansweep_pages.php?page_id=192 . i'm actually really confused. anyone's input would be greatly appreciated

Just posted the links so it would be easier for others to get to the info so they can help you.  We have sold several of the units from a while back, installers and customers both had positive feedback, that is all I can tell you.  Hopefully someone else can help you.

hi,

what vehicle do you have, stereo also.  the one piece is summing network, which allows the cleansweep to process full range signals..works best when it receives the full audio spectrum.  the other is a switching system to allow multiple aux inputs.
