Go to your local stereo shop and purchase a Line Out Converter.  Let me know when you get back.  It will cost you around 20 dollars for the LOC.

The Line out converter connects to the rear speaker wires at the back of the radio.   You can connect the remote wire to the accessory wire of the radio.

What about the high input on most amps these days...? Think this has one...? Is the LOC better because of mounting location...What can these inputs usually handle...?(high inputs on amp)...(and sorry for squeezing in on your post...!)

With the cost of newer output chips in any radio, but especially OEM radios, I really don't encourage running speaker wires through a vehicle and have that much more of a chance of running a screw or having a door sill clamp penetrate the wire and take the radio out.  The diminished chance of taking a deck out is really worth the 20 dollar investment of the LOC.   If you can even find a repair facility near you.
