only the front top dash speakers work. (Factory system)

I pulled the radio and all 4 outputs (left ,right, front and rear test ok on my bench)

There must be an amp some where in the van.

Maybe similar to a  town & country by Chrysler.

The dealer was no help.

Many thanks for any clues !

Does it say Infinity on the front of the radio or on any of the speakers?   Some of the Chrysler vehicles with the Infinity system, the amplifiers are mounted on the speakers.

According to the audiovox website, for amp location, they wrote "Not Likely"

It would be grounded best in a different vehicle.

No  infinity labels on the speaker covers, or any where else.

I can read the two dash top tweeters with  an ohm meter ( as expected since they work ),

but the door and rears all read open at the connectors at the radio end.

Pulled radio to check the speakers before wasting time on replacing the suspected radio.

Then tested the radio on the workbench. Radio is fine.

It seems odd that ALL of the speakers except the dash tweeters would be open.

My theory is that there is an amp unit.

I came across a posting for a town and country van, describing the factory amp as located in the

right rear interior by the rear AC vent, but i dont want to tear it apart on a "hunch"

MANY THANKS for the reply !

Problem Solved.

Turns out that BOTH rear sise speakers were OPEN after i figured out how to remove them.

The door speakers were never installed.

The rear tweeters never installed.

No amp, just a standard 4 speaker system.

I jumpered the rear speakers just to check for electrical continuity from the radio end, and it tested fine.

Looks like i just need to replace the open rear speakers.

Thanks for the prior replies !

Case closed finally.
