I just got a 2002 Ford Mustang v6. Right now everything is stock soundwise but the head unit i put in.. the head unit is a https://reviews.cnet.com/8301-13746_7-10023402-48.html

At first i wasn't going to do anything but add a head unit because of the expense of sound pieces, but i really really want some bump in my trunk. A friend of mine offered to sell 2 12" audio bahn(sp) subs enclosed in box already for 200 bucks. Not sure if i should take up that offer or what. If i take that offer, do i need to get new speakers? as well as what kind of amp do i get and will it be compattible(sp, again lol) with my head unit?

Or, if i dont buy the 2 subs, where should i look to get sub(s) that are good quality but relatively cheap and what kind of amps should i be looking for with a low price range as well? Thanks for taking the time to read this and i appreciate any positive replies.

Stay away from the audiobahn.  Even if the shops are close but you feel they are overpriced, you can still get first hand experience by listening to the equipment they have to offer.  Then search elsewhere for a price you want.
