Hi everyone I have two 12" memphis power reference subs. specs for the subs are: 4 ohm resistance, DVC, 250/500 watts RMS/peak.

My question though is would this kenwood ampbe a good match for these subs. If not could you guys please suggest a good amp in the same price range as the kenwood. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Sure.  Wire for a 4-ohm load.

I;ve been running the Memphis PR 12's on a Memphis MCD1000 for three years, never had a hiccup. As long as you properly tune the amp, you should be able to run it at two ohms.  What kind of head unit are you using?
