ok i have a kicker sx650.1 amp powering a cvr 12'

this just started happen when the volume is low the system will play but when i go to turn it up the bass shuts off and the amp says service on the led screen

what do i do?

Disconnect both speaker wires from the amp.  Not from the speaker box, but from the amp.  Turn it back on and turn the volume up, does it still say that in the display or is it back to normal?
