Have repaired some in the past, but really depends on how bad the coil is......

This is what ebay's for......find one with good coil and other damage and share the parts.. but not easy.

Mine kinda did the same thing after about 5 or 6 years of having it. I don't want to get rid of these subs as Ive used them for SPL for about 5 years now and they still hit great 140.4db, i have the aw1200q audiobahn series subs, does anyone know where i can get this repaired at or a new one? I know audiobahn is out of business now. you can see when looking at it from the back the cone is very slightly tearing from the voice coil. and you can hear it make a weird noise kinda like a scratching sound and it moves so much more then the other sub that is still good.
