anyone know anything about this amp? is it any good to power 6 1/2's and 6x9's? its a pretty old amp.

It produces 60 watts per channel into 4 ohms.   It is capable of running 2 ohms per channel.   If you have 8 ohm svc or 4 ohm dvc woofers, it will drive your system.   Not going to drive the 12s like they, or you, want them to be driven

im not planning to power any sub/subs. i wanted to power my infinity 6022i's and my alpine sps-609's. will this amp push them well?

I saw 6 12s I missed the /  .   Yes it should power those speakers just fine.

alright sound good. but check this out. i have a mrp-m500 powering a 12" type r. and im going to need a distribution block. the punch 240x4 is recommended 8 gauge wiring. and im running all 4 gauge for my mrp-m500.

Does that MRP amp have the large terminal screws w/clamps that host fork connectors? If so, Ive seen installs that just daisy chain from those. I always used distribution blocks or caps because of inadequate space for those huge fork connectors.

they are not "large terminal screws", the amp recommends 8 gauge wiring. and im running 4 gauge to it, and yes i am using fork connectors. what are "daisy chain"?
