If you have positive door triggers, connect the ground wire of the sill to ground, and connect the positive wire of the sill to the door trigger wire.  If you have negative door triggers, connect the positive wire of the sill to a constant 12 volt source, and connect the negative wire of the sill to the door trigger wire.  Sorry I can not be more help, but with the info you provided, that is all I can give you.

the truck has positive door triggers but like i said for whatever reason they wont power up the sills if i hook them up to staright 12volts on the vehicle they power right on. and i even tried the second door sill still no luck. customer wanted it like that but i might just hook up to acc. and call it a day

Still need more info to be able to help you.  Along with the vehicle make model and year, also what color wire did you connect as door trigger?
