hey everyone. I just got a car stereo installed in my 01 sentra. They cut the original clip and just wired everything together. Not sure if thats standard or not. anyways now my dash lights wont work. I've checked it all over and the only thing i can see is the ground wire is connected to the dimme rlight. Which i know is bad. Anyways just wondering what i do with those wires to complete the circuit? Ive properly grounded the wire and now have 2 spare wires. My dimmer light and my illumination light wires and have no spot on my stereo to put them anywhere. So where/what can i do with them to make my dash lights work again ? Thx

There is a blown fuse somewhere.  There is no circuit to complete.  Just insulate both of the extra wires and find and replace the blown fuse.  There is a chance your taillights are also out.  Check them before you drive at night.

Awsome. Thx for the quick response. I'll do that and let you know how it works out. If a fuse IS blown where would it be located ?

There IS a blown fuse.  It will be located in one of the fuseboxes.  Chances are it will be in the fusebox inside the cabin of the car.
