Hey guys have an XS XSA880 watt 4 channel amp. All my speaker and pioneers 30 watt rms front and rear. I currently have my fronts hook up on channel 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 my tweeter are on. I want to connect my right rear speaker to channel 1 on the amp and my left rear to channel 2 on the amp, so that will be 2 speakers per channel 1 and 2 how do i connect them?  Is it safe this way?

if the combined ohm load is not lower than what the amp can handle then it is ok. you can change the ohm load of the 2 speakers by wiring them different ways. if you just hook the positives and negatives together and both of your speakers are 4 ohm speakers then you might have problems if your amp is not rated for 2 ohm stereo operation. you can also wire them in series just to get them on the amp safely but you wont get any kind of power from the amp if you do it like that.
