I've looked for a hole through the firewall (2002 Dodge Neon) for quite a while. I can't seem to find one(it) and it's got me going insane. I would sincerely hate to drill a hole through it, and running cable under the car is just not acceptable... Anyone have intricate knowledge of said vehicle? (or have a Chilton's lying around :) )
Good luck finding a hole to shove wire through. I personally drill a hole into every firewire that I install an amplifier into.
What gauge wire u rinning 8 or 4???? 8 Should be easy to go through a factory groumet......
Is your car an automatic or a stick.....if its an auto....just drill through the clutch plate......and its its a stcik just double verify your drill and u should be fine....
Just please dont go through the doorjam or something like that....lol

I was running 4AWG wire, and as I live in a shady apt complex, I didn't want to be drilling holes all over everything as all my neighbors waited... I was at Best Buy and happened into the install dude who mentioned they'd drill the hole for $15. They went through the clutch plate as you mentioned, and the @$$clown went through 2-3 bits in the process. That was the end of him touching my vehicle. (thank god)
Out.
not to down best buy cuz ive seen some nice work...but the two shops in my area f'n suck .......the installers dont know there head from there ass......and we end up fixing there installs....but thats just cuz i know their hiring process.....
Actually ive been thinkin bout workin for best buy, they pay more and ill have less of a stressful atmosphere
