I've looked for a hole through the firewall (2002 Dodge Neon) for quite a while. I can't seem to find one(it) and it's got me going insane. I would sincerely hate to drill a hole through it, and running cable under the car is just not acceptable... Anyone have intricate knowledge of said vehicle? (or have a Chilton's lying around :) )

Good luck finding a hole to shove wire through. I personally drill a hole into every firewire that I install an amplifier into.

I was running 4AWG wire, and as I live in a shady apt complex, I didn't want to be drilling holes all over everything as all my neighbors waited... I was at Best Buy and happened into the install dude who mentioned they'd drill the hole for $15. They went through the clutch plate as you mentioned, and the @$$clown went through 2-3 bits in the process. That was the end of him touching my vehicle. (thank god)
Out.
