MTX Thunder 4000. According to the website they came in 4, 8 and 12 ohm configurations. On my meter I show 1 ohm. (SVC sub) is there something wrong with the VC?

There is something wrong with your meter or the sub. Check another Known good speaker, to see if your meter is working properly.
