My Crystal Ball is acting up again.  We really need a price to be able to answer that question.

Enh... HiFonics... Mediocre at best, in my opinion. You could certainly do worse, but for that money, it's a decent choice.

A bit optimistic as far as power ratings...

50 X 2 = 100
100 X 14.4 = 14400
14400 X .5 = 7200

7200 watts is the BEST that amp will ever do continuous, sorry to tell you.

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Yep... I was getting a bit happy with my math this morning (too much coffee, methinks) and was driving my zero key into clipping! LOL

haemphyst could you explain what all you math means..?

It has been several months since he posted the math.  But this is what I am getting from what he posted.  2 X 50 = 100 means the amp has 2 50 amp fuses for a total of 100 amps current capacity.  100 X 14.4 is the ampunt of wattage input to the amp.  1,440 watts input multiplied by the efficiency rating of a class A/B amplifier, which is around 50 percent efficient.  1,440  X (.)5 = 720

14.4  is the charging voltage of your vehicle if we ived in a perfect world.

Ohms law-    voltage x amperage = wattage (I x E = P)

That efficiency is a killer!   Class D baby! YAAA! 80% club!

This is what I do for FUN!

I'm planning an overhaul of the alternator to put out 180 amps so I'd max out this amp.
