Are Infinity Reference subs at least half way decent?

Hopefully they are better than PYLE or LANZAR

Infinity reference subs IMO are very good. Great sound quality for a decent price. Not for the SPL enthusiast but at the same time they thump plenty loud.   If you put a clean amp to them they'll sound great.

Great sounding subs IMO, but it is pretty easy to blow these if not tuned properly. It is pretty hard to hear the distortion in these, so hook up an oscilloscope or get it professionally tuned.
