i checked into this one time before but i forgot the model number. i have a customer with an 03 maxima with the bose system and hes wanting to do a double din nav tv. i called scosche and they gave me a part number to a new kit they had available for this car. i was told that with it having bose it took a seperate dash kit than the non-bose system. now today i called scosche to get the part number and the guy told me there was no difference and it just took the same dash kit as the non bose? anyone know what i need for sure to put a double din in this car? thanks

my books are showing both metra and schoche do not make double din kits for the maxima with the bose audio system. Reason being from what i can see is that the dash is shaped differently maybe that doesnt allow for the space on the sides for a double din install....metras kit for non bose is 95-7417.

maybe you can either talk the customer into a flipout with nav or order that kit above and try to make it work??

or start getting creative with the abs sheets.
