vehicle: 93` toyota camry le
hello. i have a Punch 240x4. im powering my front speakers by wiring from the amp to the wire harness of the car; instead of directly plugging them up to the speaker's terminals. the reason why did not do that is because i have no idea how to connect them w/o having the wires show when i open my door. do i have to remove/disassemble my whole door panel? when i open my door, i see a black hose looking rubber ( i think those are wires ). it sounds okay how i wired it, but i heard its the best plugging them up directly to the terminals. for the rear speakers i will be connecting them directly to the terminals b/c its easier. im just having trouble on the fronts.

yeah it is best if you can run your speaker wire directly from the amp to the speakers but if you have to splice into the factory wire in the kick panel then that is ok too provided that the factory wire is thick enough to handle the power going through them from the amp.
also if you want to try to run them through the factory door boot then you can try popping out the boot on both sides and then running the wire through and then put the boot back in place. or maybe use a long zip tie to run your wires through. some liquid soap helps too sometimes.
and yes you will probably need to take off your door panel but that shouldn't be too hard on that older camry. if my memory and experience serves me right. all you should have to do is pop out the trim around the interior door handle, find a few screws ( some around the bottom of the door and maybe 1 or 2 by the arm rest area of the door panel) and then you should be able to pop the door panel off. im almost positive that it just pops straight out with only some plastic clips holding it on.
but, like always, common sense should be the tell tale factor. if it feels like it is too hard to pull off than try lifting it up. if it still feels stuck then you probably should be looking for another screw somewhere.

My first car I used stock wiring without regret. Later I realized why they called me $h1T - 4 - HIGHS.
