I have an Eclipse AVN5510 in an 03 Aurora. Looking for a way to disable the disclaimer screen that pops up every time navigation is started. You have to touch the "I Agree" button each time the map is entered. I have checked through all the settings, the manual, and searched the forums to no avail. I have successfully backed up my NAV disc to a dual layer DVD. Is there a way to modify the firmware on the map disc to disable this disclaimer?

Probably not.  The reason it is there is for Eclipse's protection.  If you wreck your car while trying to perform certain operations on the unit, they do not want to be liable for your misfortune.  Not saying it can't be done, but we can't help you with that.
