here is what i have:
IDA-X200
MRP-M500
TYPE-R 12
RF PUNCH 240X4
6022I'S
SPS-69C3'S
RF CAP 1 FARAD (MODEL#: RFC1D/DIGITAL)

i have the 4 channel amp hooked up to all 4 speaker as of now. the last thing to do now is to hook up the sub and mono amp. will it work if i get the power wire from the Punch and the power wire from the MRP-M500, and twist both power wires and put it inside the positive terminal of the cap? and put the power wire (4 gauge) coming from the battery to the other positive terminal of the cap (both wires 8 gauge). and ground everything separately (cap, Punch amp and mrp).

when i do this installation, is it necessary to remove the negative terminal of the car battery? and when i charge the cap (i have the charge card that came with it) does the key need to be in the ignition?

no you shouldn't need the key to be on. also not necessary to take off the negative battery terminal just dont put the fuse in until you have everything ready to be powered up.

after the first charge on a cap you can take of the - terminal on the battery and still have the charge. Cap goes into a standby mode. Unless you put + to - on the cap to dis charge it then you should be good. I done that to my cap and it is fine. Every install I do unhook the - battery terminal. I thank it is a safety thing for me. Just never know when something touch when you dont want it to.
