What do you guys think of KnuKonceptz power wire and RCA's? I'm doing an install on a boat so the high end wires clarity will not be noticable in the open environment. Is there a better bang for the buck out there or something cheaper that I should be looking at? Any thoughts would be appreciated and thanks in advance!

Radio Shack... Unless you are really into bling, there is no need to spend that kind of money on an RCA cable... They ALL DO THE SAME THING, IN THE SAME WAY!

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

I use KnuKoncept cables all the time and find their products to be well-made and reasonably priced.

Nothing wrong with the Knu stuff.
Just glad you didn't say Monster!

Why not Monster? Sure their prices are crazy, (extermely overpriced) but I still think they make a great product. I run their rca's, power wire, and speaker wire and all are made very well. Now I know there will be no noticeable difference in sound by using a cheaper cable, but if you know you are paying for the bling and the name there is nothing wrong with Monster products.

On my bench at work, I plug and unplug my RCA cables up to 20 times a day.  I have used Monster, Pheonix Gold, Esoteric Audio, I too figured hey these cables are costly, they have to be better than the cheap ones.  If I got 6 months out of any of the brands mentioned above, I did good.  I decided to just use the cheap cables we sold, just for grins and giggles.   At least 2 years of life with the original ends.  Needless to say, I have not used an expensive cable since.  Granted I know that a cable installed in a car will not see the use and abuse that the cables on my bench go through, but if they last 4 times longer on my bench, imagine how long the cheap cables will last without being plugged and unplugged 20 times a day.

Just poking fun at the marketing BS Monster continues to spread.
I find Bose just as guilty of overrated, overpriced mediocre crap.
It's fun to watch people getting gouged with a smile on their face.
Guess bling isn't my priority. As Dyohn stated, the Knu stuff is affordable and descent quality.

The only difference is insulation. But it is very minimal at that. If you do an amp install correctly (Run power/signal wires on opposite sides of the car) there should be no problem using the cheapest of cables.

Monster was putting a 12ga "dielectric" rod down the center of their 4 guaqe wire...thats for our benefit you see...
that Micro XLN 4 CHAN 12' RCA cable retail: $189.99, Noise Cancellation breakthrough, I seen better wire and assembly on dollar store headphones....
then we got that blue and clear twisted dielectric have fun stripping wonder conductor, saving the day for us....
Thanks Monster Cable, call me if you want to expand to enclosures , RoXBoX prototype see ya at the expo!!!!

I used to sell the Monster when I worked at a big box store because that's what I was trained to sell.  Knowing the prices we as employees got them for, I had to convince myself that they were worth it to the customer.  Now that I'm not there anymore and not force fed to sell "THE BEST", I'll use the cheaper stuff any day.  I agree, if it's installed properly, then almost anything you use will work and sound just as good!
