Is there such thing as a 5 and 1/2" speaker?
Because I measured one that was 5 and 1/2" but I could have just measured wrong

It's probably 5 1/4"

never heard of a 5 1/2" speaker either, but who knows

If you tell us what kind of car their in we will probably be able to tell you the correct speaker size

You must have mismesured. Should be 5 1/4"
