 will be using this amplifier for this woofer.....please tell me the best size for the enclosure.....i listen to trance,house,electro,tribal etc.....

Vent displacement = volume of the port.

vent length is 27 inches....its too long...box size is smaller....i don get it

When the port is too long for the depth of the enclosure you need to put a bend in the port. Use the link below to see what I mean. It is a calculator so you should be able to see what size everything is and the specs of the enclosure.

guys i dont want to go for manufacturers recommendation.....i want to make an enclosure with round port....i want to know how much cubic feet should it be? and what should be the port size.....i listen to trance, house, electro etc....but i also listen to rap, hip-hop and other types too so i want to keep the enlcosure tuned in such a way that every type of music sounds good....so what would u guys recommend?
