I am trying to figure out which wiring harness I need to install my sons radio into his 2007 F150. The kits from Metra, scosche and American International do not match up to what is in the vehicle. I would really appreciate any input you can provide. The stock radio has the 1/8" jack on top of the dash for the aux input. Please see the attached photos for clarification I am including two links that will provide larger photos that will show that the wire harnesses on the factory vehicle do not match any of the wire harnesses from the list above. Please advise. Back of the radio. 
Some of the wiring that goes to the 1/8" input and a warning light that is right above the radio

Correct. One is for the radio itself. If you wish to retain the use of the 1/8 inch input jack, and your new radio has Aux in via a set of RCA jacks on the back of the unit, then you will need the one with AUX at the end of the number also. If the new radio has an 1/8 inch input on the back for aux in and you want to use the factory input jack, you will need both plugs and also a cable with 1/8 inch to RCA. Plug the 1/8 into the back of your new deck and plug the RCA end into the AUX retention plug.

Sorry to sound stupid here but I want to make sure I get this right. The AUX plug only seems to have two wires coming out of the back of it. https://images......com/images/274313/big/met-705520aux.jpg However, the AUX radio plug has quite a few more than that. Do I need to worry about the wiring for the passanger airbag light? That is the second picture I posted. The way it looked the wiring for that light was integrated into the the aux input for the radio and plugged into the back of the radio. or Is the passanger airbag light wiring independant of the radio and will still work?

There are only 2 shielded cables on the AUX plug. That takes 4 wires. Is that a picture of the back of the aux in jack, or the back of the airbag light? Or are they one in the same?

The second picture is of the back of the aribag light. The reason I am asking this is that those four wires are somehow tied in with the AUX plug and then plug into the secondary plug on the radio. From the picture on the Metra Website the AUX plug only has the RCA hookups for the AUX plug on the truck and no other wires. That is why I am confused and concerned. After work today I will take a detailed picture of the wiring as a whole so you can see how everything is attached. Again I am sorry if I am making this harder than it should be.

Somehow I would not recommend this fully. But, do not get an interface device for your aux. Basically it is a T-connection and if it does not plug in the pass air bag light, you will have a airbag light go off all the time and has to be reset at the dealership.
If you want to manually tap into the aux, keep the harness plugged in while testing.
Strip wire testing points apart so they don't touch.
On the interior side of the dash panel, plug in an ipod/mp3 player and start jamming out.
Now on the inside dash plug, take a multi-meter and test for AC current across 2 wire leads. (This is where a color wiring diagram could help out) It should read increasing AC voltage as your volume input from your ipod/mp3 device is increased. This will be your audio input wires. The other 2 are for the airbag light (tape them up)
Solder and tape these wires to a cut 3.5mm input - rca cord and viola you can now use your 3.5mm jack input on the front of the dash.
Otherwise just buy a CD player that has an ipod direct/aux input on it already and call it good.

I told you you guys I was not totally sure what I was talking about. Anyways I pulled the panels back off and noticed that the wire harnesses just seem to share the same path. No clue whether or not they both actually go to the radio or not. This is my new question after looking at the 16-pin connector (secondary plug) that goes into the radio. The Metra AUX only has the RCA's attached. So, what do all of the other wires do? I cannot imagine that Ford would have the wires going into the radio for no reason. What am I missing here?

SWC input wires, aux, and possibly volume input wires for the speed sense.

First of all thanks to all who gave their input. Thanks!! I finally finished the install over the Labor day weekend. Installed Head unit (GPS/DVD/etc), Sub-woofer with custom enclosure, Mono Amplifier and Back up camera Here are some of the Pic's.  Kenwood DNX5140 Head Unit 
Bypass Switches installed - The left one bypasses the ground for the DVD playback. (Should not be used while driving) The right one allows the back up camera to work when reverse is not engaged 
Picture of the custom enclosure for the 12" Cerwin Vega V-Max 12.2 powered by a Kenwood KAC-8140D mounted under rear seat.
