While not moving and revving the engine to about 3,000 RPM's, can you still hear the sub?  If you can't hear it and all wiring and connections are good, I would suspect a bad voltage regulator.

More info could be helpful... year, make, model of vehicle and the equipment you have installed.

I too vote for a bit too much voltage on the remote terminal of the amp.  I am guessing older GM

My guess is a F150 03-08 and he grabbed the remote turn on from the factory deck, instead of ignition switch.

So i tried to ask the crystal ball(thanks I am an Idiot)...But all it said was "more info needed" ...I can only use this once a day...So tomorrow i will give it another shot...But if you see this post by then ,please add year,make,model...Amp,subs,stereo...Where you made your connections...? That way i can use the crystal ball for another post...Thanks...!  You can hear the sub w/ the car running and in park...? As soon as you put it in drive the sound disappears...When you come to a stop does the sound come back...? It might be that new safety feature, like on mobile video, where you can only play it in park...!
