I searched to make sure this wasn't a double-post. LOL, probably is.

Anyway, My friend has a 2004 Chevy Suburban. I installed an amp/sub combo and now, when the key is turned off, it seems like the radio is losing accessory power because, when its turned back on, the bass level is up too high. You turn it down, turn off the key, back on and the bass level is too high again.

Now (standard audio system btw), this vehicle has no acc power at the radio so I tapped into the radio fuse. Is that the problem? Do I need to try another fuse?

The reason I'm asking and not just trying this is because my friend is gonna swing by here in a little bit and I wanted to have an answer before hand, for time's sake. Plus, I will not have time to check many things, so if that's not the issue, I need to know that also.

Thank you so much for any help!

I used the rear right and left speaker outputs from the radio harness and connected the ground as well.

Does he have the bose system in there? If so you have to grab your LOC at the amp.

I'm a realist and know that most problems require troubleshooting: taking on wire off, testing, another wire off, testing, etc. I was just hoping that someone had experienced this same problem so that I could speed up this process.

Not really a big deal though. And, even though she may never have the time to do it, I will have to require more time from her to work on it.

Thanks for all your help though. Also, I will try your suggestion when I get around to troubleshooting the problem.
