stereo separation = With a signal fed only to the left channel the right channel is going to be 82 Db lower than the left channel.  I have not spec shopped anything in a while, but I would have to say that 82Db is probably a bit on the low side.   10 to 50,000  you can only hear 20 to 20,000 if your ears are in perfect condition.  If you have a loud system in your car and have had it for a while, you can not expect to reach that 20,000 thing.

other brands? to be honest im not sure. someone suggested this EQ to me (eq746). there is this guy on youtube saying its a great EQ and it makes your bass louder. i believe him because he's heavy in the audio game. i know people on here will tell you things but that is their opinion maybe they are right maybe not. their was a time when i was right! haha. so i say buy it. its only 50-60 buck right? if you want i can PM you that guy's review on the eq746. im might even get it. hey you never know you'll probably fall in love with it.

lol mane i have heard a few vehicles with reasonable hard hitting sound systems and it sounds pretty darnnn good to me. And that EQ has the most reviews i seen on the net so it has to sound really good.

that clarion eq is ok. just ok. it does what it does reasonably well and it looks ok too even though it is a platformed carbon copy of a few other eq's that are out there. its just a generic eq that clarion decided to put its name on.

if all you want it to make your bass louder then just get an active crossover with a line driver in it.

if you have no clue as to how to set an eq or what it really is used for that you have a good shot that you will make your system sound worse because 90% of the time when someone gets an eq, they just hook it up and turn every knob to near max level and this doesn't make your system sound better it only kills speakers.

Again, the only thing I can suggest is go visit your local car audio shop because you obviously have something wrong and we can't help you here.
