when my deck is playing a song sometimes the song starts all over again. maybe at 20 seconds into the song it starts all over and keeps on doing that. this happens 3 of 10 times i get in my car and play music. so it doesnt happen all the time. but it does get annoying. thanks!

Sounds to me like the ripping method. What software are you using? What bitrate are you using?

haemphyst is talking about what's on your iPod. The problem you describe sounds more like issues with your source than issues with the Alpine head unit.

If you don't understand the question the only thing I can suggest is go visit your local car audio shop because you obviously have something wrong and we can't help you here.
