The website says it will playback .WMA and MP3 files via the USB connection. That's all fine and dandy, but I have an iPos Classic 160GB, and I was wondering if anybody out there knows 100% FOR SURE, FOR REAL AND FOR TRUE, if it plays Apple Lossless and/or DVD-A. I like nearly all of the additional features of this deck too, and I am considering trading my W205 for the Eclipse. I've been offered one at a smokin' price. (Yes, it's an authorized dealer... so new, with warranty! He just happens to be a friend of mine...)

If it does not play Apple Lossless, there is no way I will switch. MP3s, even high bit-rate MP3s are unlistenable for me - too fatiguing. The DVD-A is optional, but I'd really like it if it would play those too...

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

DVD-A, I doubt it but I don't really know, never tried it.  Apple Lossless via the IPC709 iPod interface cable, yes it does.
