Hello,
So I decided to install a remote starter, it seems that I've got it all up and running. My problem is now the radio (Bose + Onstar: RDS type unit) will only display the clock for about 2 seconds. I had a couple of CD's in the unit and it was able to spit them out but I can't get any sounds. I took it in to the dealer because I thought I triggered the anti-theft lockout but the mechanic said he can't even get his scanner (whatever the thing is called) to talk to the radio. All the fuses appear to be good, any thoughts. Did I kill it completely?

The starter is an autocommand unit and I'm using an XK01 for bypass. I didn't initially have the correct firmware on the XK01 so it was generating all sorts of problem codes. I don't know if that would cause any radio issue either...
Thanks
Andrew

Solved the issue, the ipod accessory unit that was inline with the factory wire harness blew up, that's what killed the radio. Pulled the ipod accessory out and the radio works fine now. Doh!
