I have not heard anything since sometime around 2008 do you know if they are still planning to manufacture this device? I was really interested in it, but i kind of forgot about it.

Who is JBL?  And what is an MS-8?

JBL is a small little company based in CT that sometimes produces audio equipment.  The MS-8 is, so far, pretty much vapor ware.

   They make it sound like they're almost done developing it. "Final software" and  such terms are being used.

It is all coming back to me, aren't they the ones that used to mount their magnets backwards from every other speaker manufacturer, causing their commercial speakers to be out of phase with all others?

I have a employee accomodation through the harmon/infinity company who also produce JBL as far as I know. Dont know a whole lot about the MS-8 but i think i saw that they recently realeased something to us that is similar from Infinity?
