I have an apline deck (CDA-9815) currently installed using a harness into the existing speaker wiring.  I am about to replace all the factory speakers with new alpine sets.  The back speakers are easy becasue I can just use the existing wiring to tie into.   However, in the front I have tweeters in the dash and 6.5" rounds in the doors.  I have a set of Apline SPS-600c component speakers to put in but my question is aroud the crossovers?  Can anyone tell me if there are already crossovers in the existing factory wiring?  I am trying to figure out if I can use the existing wiring or if I need to run new wiring and use the crossovers that come with the alpine set?   My PT is a 2004 GT model that came with the premium soundsystem before I replaced he head unit.

Many Thanks.

I own a 2004 SRT-4 with the same kicker livin loud package. The door speakers and rear deck do not have crossovers in the wiring. As far as the tweeters in the dash, you will be able to see the polypropylne capacitor in-line with the positive lead if indeed there is one. I didn't go so far as to replace my dash tweeters, so this is just an educated guess.
